Ca-ta-lyst | Experience(d) change
Ca-ta-lyst is a group of independent experts that come together on an ad-hoc basis to provide advisory services to organisations. Each of these experts is a proven catalyst in his or her field.
The Ca-ta-lyst structure provides a common ground with shared systems, methodologies and techniques which allow these experts to work together with you and with each other. Common project management, common information exchange, common brainstorming allows for a very quick exchange of information.
Each of our catalysts, as we call experts working within the Ca-ta-lyst framework, pursues other professional interests as well. Some of us are teachers or professors, some of us are active in our professions in addition to our advisory activities. This way, none of us risk becoming completely removed from the day-to-day reality of what we’re providing advisory services on.
Catalysts each have at least 18 years of professional experience in their own and adjacent fields. There are no junior catalysts, nor will there ever be.

First we seek to understand …
We need to hear and understand your story. That’s why we take our time and listen to what you have to say. It is the only way for us to truly appreciate what is important to you.
Once we have listened to you, we will tell you what we believe we understood. You most likely will correct and clarify those aspects we did not correctly capture. This takes some time, but it’s the only way to understanding your point of view.
It is only after we have understood you that we can begin to understand your concerns.
Then, we seek to be understood …
We are not a perfect match for everyone. We do not aim to be. Our catalysts can think with you in their area of expertise. We do not go beyond what we are really good at.
If your needs can be answered by working with us, we will work with you to arrive at a clear and concise answer to your question and any other questions that come up while answering the first one.
If we cannot provide an answer, we will tell you as well. We may assist you in finding someone who can provide you with the level of quality we set out to deliver ourselves.
We only engage in projects that we know we can contribute to.
Our experience is deep and practical
In our areas of solution, our team members have deep, practical expertise. We are not consultants that have only been but consultants. Our team members have spent time at both sides of the table, being a consultant and working with consultants.
