Things you cannot do with a Kindle

In my opinion, books should never be worshipped. A good book, to be fully appreciated, needs to be thoroughly desecrated, used, worked on, annotated … The ideas in it need to be examined from all sides, disagreed with, put out in sun and rain, looked at again with fresh eyes …

If you want a book to make a lasting impression on your soul, your soul needs to have interacted with it. And that interaction is what a pen is for.

And that is something you really cannot do with a Kindle.
